Last Saturday, we were thrilled to participate in the PLG Arts Fest
and celebrate the artists of our community. In spite of the clouds, visitors from our neighborhood and beyond came together in the Gallery, sharing insightful impressions and appreciation for the works on view.
Two of our artists currently on display, Lupe Ines Cariño and Elliot Johnson
stopped by to chat with guests and show support for the other artists of PLG. It was lovely to have Lupe return after some months away as he lives between NYC and Mexico where his family is from.  We can’t wait for his upcoming show, Sagrade Sangre, opening on Oct 26, 6-8pm.
Elliot, who’s known for bringing great conversation and warmth
shared a portfolio of some artwork that’s currently in progress.
All our artists, including Elliot and Lupe, have works in our current show, Facing In, Facing Forward: Our Common Humanity.
Visit is by appointment (shoot us an email contact@galleryparticulier.org). We’ll also have a meditation session with Joseph Garlinton on Oct 16, 6:30-7:30PM, RSVP.
Over coffee and cookies, we shared our mission with members of the community
who were eager to learn and engage. Many of our visitors on Saturday lived nearby the Gallery and plan to be involved in future events.
It was wonderful to come together in support and celebration of local artists. We’re so grateful to have participated in this fabulous event, and look forward to next year’s PLG Arts Fest.
