It was a very special evening of art and music at Gallery Particulier on Wednesday May 1 for the opening of Let It Fly. Our neighbors came from close and far to enjoy the prints on show.

We were thrilled to have the debut exhibition of our newest artist, Samara Chalumeau. She shared insights into her beautiful portraiture work, and spoke about her exploration of Caribbean art. She will be incorporating its colors and aesthetics into her paintings.

The evening continued with a compelling movement and music performance by Yes Orchid with Natalie Deryn Johnson singing and dancing, and Rhys Tivey on keyboard and trumpet.

Like the lovely conversations in the room, our artists’ works curated by Robin Bergman were in conversation on the walls. And when a print spoke to someone they were able to put their name in the hat for a chance to take that work home at the end of the show.

There is still time to FREE THE ART and let your home become the gallery by entering the free raffle to borrow a work of art straight off the walls letting it breath life and creativity into your space. Email us contact@galleryparticulier.org.

We are having another musical event with the great Brit Varrow and her band on May 19th. Early Bird Code RedRoverRedRover.

And the much anticipated day when we will SEE THE ART FLY HOME (and the last chance to see the show) is June 4th, which will also be an exciting night of storytelling. That night, the winners of the pieces will literally take the work down from the walls and into their own homes for 5 months. RSVP contact@galleryparticulier.org.
