We were looking for ways to connect with the community, as our mission is to expand the reach of art. Well, we learned that it can happen thanks to people who are deeply engaged with the community:
We are grateful to our friends at MiCasa and *7 7* and FATA for inviting us to participate in their events. We’ll be showing some of our artists’ (Srishti Dass, Amir Bey, A Shawn McKinney, Matthew Perez, Grace Nkem, Lungisa Matubatuba, and more) work, which can be borrowed.

April 30, from 3:00 until 5:00 pm, at the elegant mansion of the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture (53 Prospect Park West, Brooklyn):
Poets will talk, musicians will play, and our artists (Sristhi Dass, Matthew Perez, Amir Bey, A Shawn McKinney, Grace Nkem) will either talk or paint live! Amir Bey will demonstrate some of his sculptures/musical instruments by playing them. Drinks and bites too.
