Poet Shanya Bostick, singers/musicians Joseph Garlington and Ed Pankov perform at Gallery Particulier.

The audience enjoyed music and poetry
while taking in the artwork of Sophia Gibbins. The artist is 17 years old and her work is highly relevant to young audiences with its themes of identity and self image.

That’s our mission: expanding the reach of visual arts.

We work with emerging artists,
as well as more established artists, based in NYC. Our interventions directly connect their artworks with various communities. In this case, young talent brought a young, vibrant audience that made for a high voltage evening.
Visual arts are a part of every culture
in the world, and has been since ancient times. In ours, it is a poor cousin to other arts such as music. Less than 20% of people in the US visit art galleries which are not inviting or accessible. Yet our city is so rich in talent!
We avoid the intimidation
of the art world, and make the experience of visual arts intimate, friendly, inviting to all.
