Get Involved
Everyone can play a role in our mission:
expanding the reach of art and supporting artists.
Whether hosting, supporting, speaking out, or contributing artworks, we welcome our community to join our efforts: it’s most rewarding to be part of the visual arts scene!
Volunteer
There are many ways to volunteer with us, whether you prefer being hands-on at events or supporting from wherever you are. You can help welcome guests, assist with installations, document events, support outreach, and contribute your skills remotely.
However you choose to get involved, you’ll be helping bring art into people’s lives in meaningful and accessible ways.
If you’re interested, reach out to us by email contact@galleryparticulier.org or come introduce yourself at one of our events. We’d love to meet you.
Gallerist Host
People in Brooklyn can apply to host the work. A contained screening process is carried to ensure the art will be safe. The work needs to be returned after three months (loan is renewable) with the option to buy it if it is for sale. Art pieces exhibited are either owned by Gallery Particulier, on sale or on loan from artists and collectors.
Artists
Artists with work that is relevant to our communities are invited to exhibit through Gallery Particulier. They can let the Gallery have pieces on loan or for sale. The works will then be exhibited in homes that have been screened as a suitable environment for an art piece, and can be retrieved within a few days’ notice. Artists will have their work seen, appreciated through the community, as well as gain media attention through the Gallery’s outreach.
Spokesperson
Our efforts benefit from support from people engaged in the visual arts, whether collectors, curators, reporters, scholars, or aficionados. We prize interviews and benefit from advice and guidance.
Patrons
Just as anyone can be a gallerist, anyone can be a patron, and a collector. Buying work through Gallery Particulier provides means to both support artists and to enrich people’s lives through the enjoyment of art works. Participation will be acknowledged in Gallery materials as well as through outreach to media, unless the patron prefers anonymity.
