Sun In Our Eyes
Brit Varrow and her band The Playground rocked Gallery Particulier with their beautiful sounds. The evening was called Sun In Our Eyes in reference to a striking self portrait by Sophia Gibbins. In our intimate setting, the audience got to take in Gibbins’ powerful artwork showing in her exhibit Of Body And Self.
Crosspollination
We enjoyed socializing, getting to know each other, taking in the lovely music, singing along to our favorite tunes. Gallery Particulier works at expanding the reach of visual arts, and this is one way we do it. We hold events (music, poetry, life drawing) in our space that bring an audience who then get familiar with the art on show. We take the intimidation out of visual arts, and instead provide an experience that is warm and approachable.
