A Day to Rebalance Mother Earth’s Energies
– All Day Event –

Gallery Particulier is proud to host the in-person section of a day of spiritual action. Here is what the organizers are saying about their objectives:

Anywhere in the world: Practice with your gifts and intentions

Principles for Collective Action:

  1. We understand that the world is at a tipping point. For several thousand years, the patriarchy has hijacked the divine masculine, rendering it grotesque. Every big religion is guilty. From American evangelicals shoveling project 2025 through one of the most biblically corrupt humans in history, to Afghanistan’s rules on women’s voices, to Iran’s hangings of women, to genocide in Gaza, etc—these attacks, at a time when we know so much history, are a perversion of what life is meant to be.
  2. We fiercely love our Mother Earth and understand and feel Her suffering. The greed of endless consumerism, the legacies of colonial plundering of nature, the Western dissociation from our natural spaces and our renunciation of ourselves as part of Creation has led to climate crises and hurt on those most vulnerable, including our plant and animal families. We believe we can heal.
  3. Anger, despair, hate and all other “negative” feelings, including fear, are legitimate and inform our momentum. But this call is grounded in Love and Light—not the fluffy stuff of Disney, but the fierce forces that drive Creation and propel evolution. The sort that set things on fire, leave you breathless and feeling pain that isn’t yours, that you wish you didn’t feel, that makes you wish you were dumb and blind to the world’s evils. The Love &Light that impart power & responsibility.
  4. Some of us have been feeling/hearing/sensing your ancestors calling (especially those who lived through historic evils). We understand they are here to protect and help us move into an era of matriarchy that doesn’t seek revenge, but community, healing, communion, love of life, rejection of suffering and self-denial, embracing every bit of creation as part of a perfect matrix, where everyone and everything has a role, where each can thrive because this Earth and universe are bountiful.

Practical Suggestions for Participating on December 21

Day of Collective Action (applies to anyone wishing to participate on their own, from wherever they are.)

An in-person gathering is scheduled for 4:30-6pm at Gallery Particulier in Brooklyn, NY

This document is specifically designed for those who:

  • Agree with the principles stated above, AND
  • Feel the need to do something about it but are not sure what.

In other words, if you are (1) but  already have a set practice that you can bring to this communal task, welcome! No need to read further. ————————————————————————————————————————————-

What to do? Practical, easy-to-implement ideas.

Take those that speak to you, leave the rest:

  • On December 20 (the day before), go to bed with the intention that tomorrow will be a day filled with intention and LOVE*. As you’re getting ready for bed (even while brushing your teeth), you can think some version of the words: “Tomorrow is a day for rebalance. Tomorrow, I will join in with people who love the Planet for our  Mother Earth and for every living thing on it.”
  • On December 21 wake up and set your intention for the day. Repeat the words you said when going to bed.
    • If you can, take it a step further and write the words out on a piece of paper, on your laptop or in a notebook. Carry the written words with you if it feels important to do so. Write more if the words come to you. Keep writing. ALL feelings are valid, as long as they come from a place of fierce LOVE. (Remember: Justice can be angry and even filled with hate for the oppressors).
    • Another step: light a candle and keep it around to relight throughout the day if you’re staying  in the same place.
    • Another step: if you’re the descendant of someone who lived (honorably) through a brutal period of history (survivors of the Holocaust, wars, communism, etc): say their name–they could be here to help. If you have their picture, bring it out.
  • Throughout December 21, come back to these words as often as you can, and add requests for everything beautiful that you want to see in the world. Be as specific as you can, but dream big!
    • Some suggestions: Peace in the Middle East. Peace in Ukraine. End to [name them] dictators. An era of matriarchy (a way of living that doesn’t seek revenge, but community, healing, communion, love of life, rejection of unnecessary suffering and self-denial, embracing every bit of creation as part of a perfect Whole, where everyone and everything has a role, where each can thrive because this Earth and universe are bountiful.) The end of greed and capitalism. Rewilding of the world/your community. End of burning of the Amazon. Etc.
  • Do this while doing activities that make sense to you and bring you peace. These can include:
    •  Walking, looking at the light, running, closing your eyes, sitting, painting, knitting, playing with your kids, watering plants, writing, listening to music.
      • Remember: Everything that brings you peace is a catalyst for balance. If you’re an artist of any kind, incorporate your words of healing into your work!

But I am busy!

That’s ok! Most of us are. You can still participate! How?

If you’re working: it is your stated intention that matters. While doing dishes, sending an email, cooking for screaming kids, doing laundry, driving, serving customers: use seeing any part of your body, such as your fingers, as a sign that you’re coming back to your morning intention. Even if this only lasts a second, it is enough!

If you’re traveling for the holidays: everything still applies. The time to say/write the words that speak to you can be while waiting in line for coffee, waiting for the plane/train/bus, waiting in line for the bathroom, sitting in your seat without enough leg room, smashed between a crying baby and a man playing video games. Look at your hands. Feel your knees. Take a sip of “free” airplane juice, say a thank you for what you do have, and make your wish for the world. Thank you!”
