On Wednesday, September 24 at 7pm, Gallery Particulier will host a special edition of our storytelling series, Collective Tales, under the theme “Because, Justice.”

MCed by our well loved Comrade Cav and his dedication to justice, the evening’s focused on Justice, a theme more crucial then ever. Everyone has experienced justice, and injustice in their life. Or witnessed it. We are looking forward to giving voice to these stories.

We will also bring together Brooklyn Arts Council grantees—artists who have been recognized with one of the borough’s most meaningful awards for their creativity and contribution to community life.

These grantees represent a wide spectrum of disciplines: from dancers and musicians to storytellers and multidisciplinary artists/creators. They all share a commitment to justice, community, and cultural vitality, and each has been honored for work that enriches Brooklyn’s communities.

This gathering is a celebration of the collective spirit that makes Brooklyn a global magnet. And as ever, it reaffirms our opposition through the arts to the many injustices we see in our society, which have increased in recent months.
