These images come from the artist observing Black fathers with their children in our city. We see them every day too.Now\, these images are seen by young adults who are themselves navigating parenthood.The Alex House Project was founded by visionary leader Samora Coles. They help young parents thrive and blossom: a beautiful mission.We are delighted with this alliance\, as art brings enrichment in people’s lives\, and reinforces a sense of identity and social cohesion. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Free URL:https://galleryparticulier.org/event/unboxed-black-fathers-are-present-at-the-alex-house-project/ LOCATION:9 Bond St 4th Fl\, Brooklyn NY ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://galleryparticulier.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Unboxed-Black-Fathers_Alex-House-Event-Gallery_Particulier02.jpg ORGANIZER;CN="Gallery Particulier":MAILTO:contact@galleryparticulier.org END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20261004 DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20261120 DTSTAMP:20261011T030851Z CREATED:20260826T151251Z LAST-MODIFIED:20261011T030851Z UID:14856-1791072000-1795132799@galleryparticulier.org SUMMARY:Gallery Particulier Group Show: My Land\, My Village\, My Heart DESCRIPTION:Gallery Particulier presents My Land\, My Village\, My Heart – a group show\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Gallery Particulier Group Show\, Part of Artmageddon 2026\nGallery Particulier is proud to take part in Artmageddon 2026\, the world’s biggest free art and music festival. Returning to Brooklyn for a full month of creativity\, it culminates in a single day of celebration on October 4. \nArtmageddon is a project of Rob Elstein’s Beautify Brooklyn and takes place throughout Central Brooklyn. You can find the full festival map and lineup at beautifybrooklyn.org. \nFor our part\, we’re presenting a group show of Gallery Particulier artists: My Land\, My Village\, My Heart. Come spend the day with us\, meet the artists\, and discover art all across the neighborhood. And celebrate with the artists from 5-7PM with drinks and bites. \nMy Land\, My Village\, My Heart brings together artists whose work explores place\, memory\, belonging\, and the landscapes\, real and imagined\, that shape us. The group exhibition introduces Indigenous Canadian artist Sarah Gibeault\, whose delicate Sea Villages evokes fragile coastal worlds suspended between land and water. She is joined by Noah Bassman\, Wennie Huang\, Ronen Gamil\, and Yoshiko Mukai Williamson\, who makes her debut with Gallery Particulier. Together\, their very different approaches create a conversation about home\, community\, nature\, migration\, and the places we carry with us. \nWe’re thrilled to introduce Sarah Gibeault\, an indigenous Canadian artist\, and her extraordinary work which will be exhibited in this show. \n  \nArtists participating:Sarah GibeaultRonen GamilYoshiko Mukai WilliamsonLupe CariñoNoah Bassman \nCatalog:https://canva.link/q2glcgfd1s2th7u \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n October 4 to November 19\, 2026\n281 Maple St\, 2nd floor\, Brooklyn\n \n More\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Sea Village by Sarah Gibeault\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Nothing Compares by Wennie Huang\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Prohibited vs Protected Species by Ronen Gamil\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Textile Art by Yoshiko Mukai Wiliamson\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Water Tower by Noah Bassman URL:https://galleryparticulier.org/event/gallery-particulier-group-show/ LOCATION:Gallery Particulier\, 281 Maple Street\, Brooklyn\, NY\, 11225\, United States ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://galleryparticulier.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Artmagedon-Event-Gallery_Particulier02.jpg END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
